Easy steps: log in or sign up, head to Electricity or Bills section, select your DisCo (e.g. PHED for Port Harcourt), choose Prepaid or Postpaid, enter your Meter Number (prepaid) or Account/Customer Number (postpaid), put in the amount you want to pay/top up, review everything, then pay. For prepaid, you'll get the token instantly via SMS/email – just load it on your meter. Postpaid gets receipt confirmation.
Prepaid token is usually instant – under 1 minute after payment clears. Postpaid updates show on your account quick too. Sometimes if DisCo network is slow (common with PHED or IKEDC), it can take 2–10 minutes. If nothing after 15–20 minutes, send us your transaction reference + meter/account number – we'll chase it up fast.
Yes, no wahala at all. Just enter their correct Meter Number or Account Number during checkout. Plenty people use this to settle for family in another state, church, shop, or even landlord – as long as the details are right and the meter/account is active, it goes through smooth.
If we haven't processed it yet, ping support immediately with your transaction ref – we can cancel/refund or fix it. If token already sent to wrong meter or payment applied to wrong account, we can't reverse it ourselves (DisCo rules), but reach out quick – sometimes we can help request a credit note or partial fix from the DisCo. Always double-check the number before paying to avoid this headache.
Relax first – it could be small delay on DisCo side, meter off, or typo in number. Wait 10–15 minutes. If still nothing, send us: 1) transaction reference, 2) meter/account number you used, 3) screenshot of your meter balance or bill if you have. We'll track from our end and follow up with the DisCo (PHED, IKEDC, etc.) if needed. We don't leave you stranded.
Both! Prepaid – you buy token/units in advance (get 20-digit token to load). Postpaid – pay your estimated/actual bill after usage (get receipt). Just select the right option for your DisCo. Prepaid is more common now, but we handle both no stress.
Common small issues: wrong token entry, meter tamper error, or network glitch. Try entering the token again carefully (no spaces). If it rejects or shows error code, wait a bit and retry. Still no? Send us the error message/code + your meter number + transaction ref. We'll help you contact DisCo or get a replacement token sorted. Don't force it – call support if stuck.
